Description
The collection is composed of three scrapbooks. Two document the dance career of Murial Grodemange, from her beginnings in Chicago to her appearances with the Ballet Russe De Monte Carlo. Her stage name during her time at the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo was Muge Novikova. The third scrapbook contains clippings of diverse dance performances and magazines. All scrapbooks document dance in 1930s-1940s.
The scrapbooks were given to Douglas Nielsen by Roy Blakey, who subsequently gathered them from Terry Rudolph.
